His childhood environment required awareness and resilience. Navigating both private and public education at Brookdale Christian Academy and Franklin Elementary School exposed him to different social dynamics and taught him adaptability across diverse spaces. In high school, Nazario and seven friends formed their own fraternity, Phi Beta Zeta. The experience reinforced a principle that would define his life’s work: “Being genuine and approachable breeds loyalty that can last forever in friendship.” That lesson established his belief that leadership begins with character long before it is confirmed by title.

Work Ethic and Identity

Nazario’s first job was cleaning restaurants in New York City for a small business owned by a New Jersey State Trooper. The pay was modest, thirty dollars a day, but the lessons were enduring. The work demanded discipline, consistency, and humility. It instilled in him a respect for labor and a belief that no role is beneath a leader.

These early experiences shaped how he views authority and responsibility. Leadership, he learned, is not entitlement. It is service. Credibility is built quietly through effort, not granted instantly through position.

As life progressed, Nazario encountered both success and failure. He experienced seasons of loss, discouragement, and personal reckoning. Rather than retreat, he chose reflection and accountability. Those moments clarified his understanding of growth. Healing is intentional. Change requires discipline. Identity must be rebuilt from the inside out.

Returning to higher education later in life, Nazario pursued studies in psychology and behavioral sciences with focus and excellence. In 2013, Nazario became Executive Director of the Building A Better Me Foundation, an organization centered on transformation through accountability and intentional growth. His leadership focused on men and individuals who were never trained to lead but were expected to know how.
