Who is Lior Alperovich?
Lior Alperovich is the founder of Precision Narrative and a strategic marketing and communications leader specializing in healthtech, biotech, medtech, and B2B technology. With nearly a decade of experience across Israel, Europe, and the United States, she is known for translating complex science into clear, credible narratives that support adoption, trust, and growth. Shaped by both senior leadership roles and her lived experience as a breast cancer survivor, Lior brings a disciplined, human-centered approach to storytelling—helping founders and executive teams align evidence, strategy, and communication at critical stages of scale.
The Narrative Beneath the Science
Innovation rarely fails because the science isn’t strong. More often, it falters when its meaning is lost in translation. For Lior Alperovich, that insight has become a defining principle, and the foundation of a career dedicated to bringing clarity, credibility, and human relevance to complex science.
Shaped by nearly a decade in biotech, medtech, healthtech, and B2B technology, and informed by lived experience as a breast cancer survivor, Lior’s work operates at the intersection of evidence and empathy. She approaches narrative as a strategic function, one that directly influences whether innovation is understood, trusted, and adopted.
Building Fluency in Brand, Science, and Meaning
Originally from South Africa, Lior’s early academic and professional path reflected a fascination with how organizations communicate value. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications before completing an Honors degree(BA) in Strategic Brand Management and Leadership. This academic foundation shaped both her analytical approach and her understanding of how brands communicate value.
Her formative years unfolded across agency environments and in-house roles, where she worked closely with emerging technology companies. Early exposure to biotech and medtech clients revealed a recurring problem: extraordinary innovation often stalled because key stakeholders could not quickly understand why it mattered or how it fit into real-world practice.
That realization became a turning point. Over time, she learned that clear communication requires precision, context, and restraint, not oversimplification.
“Innovation alone is not enough,” she has noted. “If decision-makers and patients can’t clearly understand or trust the value, impact is delayed, or lost entirely.”
From Communications Leadership to Precision Narrative
Lior’s career accelerated as she moved into increasingly senior communications roles within Israel’s high-tech and healthtech ecosystem, spending eight years immersed in one of the world’s most innovation-dense markets. Her work spanned PR, brand strategy, executive communication, and global positioning for biotech, diagnostics, and deep-tech organizations.
A pivotal chapter came during her tenure OncoHost, a precision oncology company, where she worked side-by-side with R&D, clinical, and commercial teams. Working closely with data and the operational realities behind it helped her refine her approach.
Her time here focused on building the marketing function from the ground up, and guiding the company through moments where credibility mattered most: fundraising, clinical milestones, and market entry.
In 2025, Lior founded Precision Narrative, a boutique consultancy in response to a recurring gap she saw across early- and growth-stage companies. Startups and scale-ups often require senior-level strategic communications, but not the overhead of a full-time hire. Through Precision Narrative, Lior provides fractional marketing leadership to companies across Israel, Europe, and the United States, helping leadership teams establish clear, consistent messaging
during pivotal moments.
“The tech may be complex, but the story shouldn’t be,” she often emphasizes, a philosophy that has become both her signature and her standard.
Credibility, Consistency, and the Patient Perspective
What differentiates Lior’s work is not only her technical fluency, by firsthand experience navigating the healthcare system as a patient.. As a breast cancer survivor, she brings an uncompromising commitment to accuracy and trust.
“Being a patient fundamentally changes how you view healthcare communication,” she explains. “You become very sensitive to what feels credible, what feels overstated, and what feels unclear.”
This perspective reinforces her belief that responsible storytelling is the foundation of long-term trust. In regulated, evidence-driven markets, credibility, once lost, is nearly impossible to recover. Lior’s approach prioritizes alignment: ensuring that what companies say matches what their science can deliver, today and in the future.
Colleagues describe her as detail oriented and reliable. One early recommendation captures this reputation succinctly, noting her strong work ethic, sense of responsibility, and ability to see initiatives through with care and precision, qualities that continue to define her leadership today.
Through her work, Lior helps organizations address common communication gaps: inconsistent messaging, feature-heavy narratives, and unclear articulation of real-world relevance. By building structured narrative frameworks, she enables leadership teams to communicate with confidence, strengthening everything from partnerships to clinical adoption.
Narrative as a Strategic Advantage
Looking ahead, Lior believes authentic narrative-building will increasingly separate successful healthtech and medtech organizations from the rest. As markets grow more crowded and technologies more sophisticated, differentiation will hinge less on novelty and more on clarity of purpose, clinical relevance, and earned trust.
“Strong narratives aren’t about hype,” she says. “They’re about helping complex innovations move efficiently into real-world use.”
Through Precision Narrative, Lior continues to partner with founders and executives who understand that communication is not a final step, but a strategic lever, one that connects innovation to adoption, and science to the people it ultimately serves.
Editorial Note
Lior Alperovich’s journey underscores a critical truth for modern leaders: credibility is built at the intersection of evidence and empathy. In an era where innovation moves fast but trust is earned slowly, her work offers a compelling model for how organizations can communicate with integrity, clarity, and lasting impact. For founders and executives navigating complexity, her approach is a reminder that the most powerful stories are the ones grounded in truth, and shaped with intention.
