Charles Arhens

I was born 1 of 6 children and graduated from Rutgers University-NCAS with a BA in Biology and a minor in Botany.  After graduating I worked as a wet chemist in several environmental laboratories. I then landed a position with Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in NYC, where I was recruited into sales by then Pharmacia Biotech, now a GE Healthcare company.

I love music and about 6 years ago started a non-profit, The Truce Initiative (named after the Twenty One Pilots song Truce).  It was an organization dedicated to providing music experiences to teens & young adults at risk for suicide. I have a quirky saying: “I like to think outside the box because I am slightly claustrophobic!”
