When a Room Becomes the Beginning of Something Bigger
People don’t usually hire an interior designer expecting to change their life. They want a more beautiful home, a better workspace, or an environment that reflects where they are today. Yet after years of working with homeowners, entrepreneurs, and professionals, Paige Earles noticed something they often didn’t.
The rooms changed first. The people changed next.
As clients began surrounding themselves with spaces that reflected the person they wanted to become, they started making different decisions, building new habits, and approaching life with renewed confidence. Those moments challenged Paige’s understanding of what design could accomplish. She realized she wasn’t simply helping people redesign their homes. She was watching them redesign themselves.
That realization became the foundation of the work she does today and the philosophy that continues to guide every chapter of her career.
A Foundation Built Long Before Business
For Paige Earles, growth was never something that happened in one place. Born in California, she spent her childhood moving across Colorado, England, Missouri, Tennessee, and Georgia, attending several different schools along the way. Constant change taught her how to adapt, connect with new people, and embrace unfamiliar environments.
The greatest influence, however, came from much closer to home.
Her mother became the example she would carry throughout her life, not because of professional accomplishments alone, but because of the way she treated people.

That lesson would later shape Paige’s own leadership style. Whether managing teams, coaching professionals, or working one-on-one with clients, she has always believed that meaningful leadership begins with serving others.
After earning a degree in Psychology from the University of Memphis, she entered a career that would span sales leadership, franchise development, real estate training, management, and entrepreneurship. At first glance, those roles appear diverse. Looking closer, they all share one common thread: helping people recognize possibilities they hadn’t yet seen for themselves.
Seeing the Pattern Others Missed
Paige’s career in interior design allowed her to work closely with people during important moments in their lives. Some were preparing a home for sale. Others were creating a new space for a growing family or redesigning an office that better reflected their business.
While each project was different, the outcome often looked remarkably similar.
She began noticing that once someone’s physical environment reflected the future they envisioned, their confidence and perspective began shifting as well.
“Once their physical environment began to reflect who they aspired to become rather than who they had been, I saw remarkable shifts take place. The environment wasn’t just changing their surroundings. It was reinforcing a new identity.”
Those observations changed the direction of her career.
Rather than viewing design as the final result, Paige started seeing it as the beginning of a larger transformation. Beautiful spaces certainly mattered, but they were only one piece of a much bigger picture. The decisions people made afterward, the habits they developed, and the goals they pursued often carried the greatest significance.
It was this recurring pattern, witnessed over nearly two decades, that inspired her to establish Elevate By Design.
Helping People Design Their Next Chapter
Today, Paige works with entrepreneurs, executives, consultants, and experienced professionals who are preparing for what’s next in their careers and lives. Her work combines personal development, leadership growth, design thinking, and business experience into an approach centered on intentional living.
Although her professional focus has expanded beyond interiors, her belief has remained remarkably consistent.
People rarely experience lasting change because circumstances improve first. More often, change begins when they become intentional about who they want to become.

She believes many professionals spend years pursuing promotions, larger goals, or better strategies while overlooking the quieter work that ultimately influences every outcome.

Those are the areas she believes deserve just as much attention as business plans and performance metrics because they shape the decisions that follow.

Looking back, Paige no longer sees her career as a series of separate professions. Her experience in leadership, sales, psychology, coaching, entrepreneurship, and interior design all contributed to the same understanding of how people grow.
Each role added another perspective. Each client reinforced another lesson. Together, they formed a philosophy that now guides both her work and her life.
