Taline Yessayan

Who is Taline Yessayan?

Taline Yessayan, based in Beirut, Lebanon, is an ICF-accredited Professional Certified Coach (PCC), leadership trainer, author, and transformational speaker dedicated to helping leaders, high performers, and transitioning professionals reclaim their personal power and lead with intention. With a background that spans leadership development, performance psychology, energy leadership, and DEIB, she empowers individuals and organizations to navigate change with resilience, self-awareness, and purpose-driven clarity. As the author of The Power Shift – Own Your Power, Redefine Your Life and a Lead Trainer at iPEC Coaching, Taline combines coaching expertise with conscious leadership principles to guide meaningful and lasting transformation. Her philosophy is rooted in a belief she often emphasizes: true transformation begins within. Today, she works with individuals, teams, and organizations globally to help them break through limitations, cultivate authentic leadership, and create sustainable personal and professional growth.

In 2019, the world as Taline Yessayan knew, it disintegrated. The banking system in Lebanon, the bedrock of her professional life, collapsed. Simultaneously, the structure of her personal life shifted as her 28-year marriage came to an end. For most, this would be a story of total loss. For Yessayan, it was the moment her “Power Shift” began.

Standing amidst the wreckage of a high-level career and a long-term partnership, she was faced with a choice: succumb to the external chaos or master her internal response. She chose the latter. What started as a “Plan B” career move into coaching evolved into a profound personal metamorphosis that would eventually become a roadmap for leaders worldwide.

Yessayan’s ability to navigate upheaval was forged long before the crisis in Beirut. Born into an Armenian heritage and raised between the vibrant, often volatile energy of Lebanon and the structured, multicultural landscape of Toronto, she developed a dual-lens perspective early on.

This upbringing between two worlds instilled a deep sense of independence and a relentless curiosity about human behavior. Before entering the world of coaching, Yessayan spent nearly a decade as the Chairman and General Manager of REACH Real Estate. In this high-stakes environment, she sharpened her discipline and leadership, managing complex developments and navigating the intricacies of the Lebanese market. Yet, even then, her true focus was on the people. Her early interests in theater and dance had taught her to observe the subtle nuances of presence, how people “show up” in a room. “Awareness is key, you cannot change what you are not aware of, and you cannot lead others if you are not leading yourself.”

This foundational belief, rooted in her years of observing human dynamics in both art and business, would eventually become the cornerstone of her coaching philosophy.

When the crisis hit, Yessayan didn’t just survive; she leaned into the discomfort. Although still early in her coaching journey, as a certified professional coach(CPC) from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), she deepened her expertise through rigorous training with, eventually earning the prestigious Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential from the International Coaching Federation. She transitioned from managing physical assets to inspiring human potential.

In 2021, she was recruited by the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) into a rigorous training program to become a Lead Trainer, later expanding her role as a Mentor Coach. Yessayan began helping high performers and transitioning professionals recognize that their external circumstances do not have to dictate their internal state. Her work focuses on “Energy Leadership”, the concept that the level of consciousness we bring to a situation determines our success and fulfillment. Her ascent was marked by a shift from the perfectionism trap to authentic leadership. She began challenging the narrative that leaders must be infallible. “Understand that your performance is only a part of you, and does not define the essence of who you are at your core,” she shares. For Yessayan, leadership shifted from a place of fear and the need for control to a place of conscious choice.

This period of growth culminated in the writing of her seminal work, The Power Shift – Own Your Power, Redefine Your Life. The book serves as a mirror for those who feel lost in the noise, offering a way to reconnect with their inner voice. It reflects her belief that we are the cause and the effect of everything that happens to us, not because we control the world, but because we control our narrative.

Today, Yessayan’s impact resonates through corporate boardrooms and community initiatives alike. As a specialist in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB), she understands that a high-functioning group begins with the individual’s level of consciousness. She guides organizations to navigate biases and leverage diverse perspectives to build cohesive, high-performing teams. Her reputation for excellence is echoed by those who have witnessed her work firsthand. Tony English, a Real Estate Broker and Certified Professional Coach in the United States, shares:

“Since working with Taline, I’ve experienced shifts in both my mindset and actions. She has helped me navigate challenges with a clear, centered perspective and has encouraged me to embrace my strengths while gently guiding me to heal old wounds. Taline is not just a coach; she is a source of light and strength in a sometimes dark world.”

Beyond the corporate world, Yessayan remains deeply committed to her roots. As a founding member and secretary of JEBID — a registered, independent philanthropic organization — Taline focuses on children’s education and support for underprivileged families in Lebanon. For her, personal growth and social impact are inextricably linked; you cannot empower the self without seeking to empower the collective. Book a Session with Taline here.

Her vision is to promote a more conscious way of living and leading, moving beyond borders to collaborate internationally and share her insights through retreats and podcast conversations.

Her legacy is one of reclaimed agency. She stands as a living example that no matter how restrictive a country, a relationship, or a corporate culture may feel, the power to choose remains. Listen to Taline on Spotify.
