Where are you from originally? What are some of your favorite memories as a child?
I was born in Salisbury, NC, a small city where I grew up playing baseball and later would spend my days skateboarding around town and playing bass guitar in garages with friends.
My parents had me at a young age, and every summer, I would spend with my grandparents in upstate NY. They had a traditional neighborhood, in a town with a few lakes. Every morning, the neighborhood kids would come to get me, and we would go out together.
Going out and being independent, these positive experiences encouraged me to be out on my own at a young age and make it to NYC.
