Can you please tell us a little bit about yourself? Some fun facts and anecdotes from your life.

I was born in New Jersey and raised in Southern California but lived almost everywhere. My background of working internally at Nike, Supra + KR3W, Under Armour and Ralph Lauren has equipped me with an interesting perspective. I am also a former D-1 (American) Football Player. This translated means I understand Culture, Business, Product, People, Sport, Design and Brands.
My GOAL is to work collaboratively with good folks, do the EPIC, and share what I’ve learned along my journey.

Where are you from originally? What are some of your favorite memories as a child?

The day my mother signed me up to play American youth football at 8 years old.

You studied Sports Administration for your higher education. Would you recommend others interested in pursuing a career in sportswear branding to study this subject? And why is that?

My route into the Sportswear Industry was not conventional - I believe it is less about the type of degree and more about passion for the industry, curiosity for culture, and mastering the art of storytelling.

What was it like joining Nike as a Brand Story Teller & Field Marketer? What did you have in mind when you thought about your future or where you wanted to be in 20 years?

I was just thrilled to be working in sports and strived to learn from those around me and progressive daily through successes or lessons learned from failing forward!

If you were to choose any sports personality to sponsor a sportswear brand, who would that be, and why?

Allen Iverson during his playing days in my view. His spirit on and off the court should have positioned him as the Greatest of All Time from a sneaker endorsing perspective.

A story that is authentic, clear, engaging, visual, and passionate/emotional.
