Currently, I serve as a Learning and Development Coordinator at Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative, where I oversee critical training initiatives and ensure compliance across the organization. Looking ahead, I aim to continue applying my essentialist approach to larger-scale projects, helping organizations strip away the nonessential and focus on what truly drives their success.

In many ways, yes. My career has allowed me to cultivate a unique skill set centered around essentialism, which has been incredibly rewarding. While I didn’t always foresee the exact path I would take, I’m proud of how my focus on simplicity and efficiency has shaped my professional journey.

My background in psychology from Cardiff University provided a solid foundation for understanding human behavior and decision-making processes, which has been invaluable in my roles in project management and team leadership. It has helped me to better analyze and streamline operations by understanding what truly motivates individuals and teams.

Recently, I successfully managed the implementation of a new rostering software at Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative, which involved training over 1,200 staff members. By focusing on the essential functionalities and removing unnecessary complexities, we significantly improved efficiency and training compliance, which increased by 644%.

One of my proudest achievements was growing the website traffic for Down The Front Media to over 100,000 monthly unique visitors by focusing on essential content. Additionally, at Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative, I was able to increase training compliance by 644% through essentialist training strategies, which was a significant milestone for the organization.
