Currently, I am a Corporate Trainer, Coach, Psychometric Assessor, and the Founder of Forward Training and Consulting. My goal is to expand our impact, enabling more organizations to build emotionally intelligent, resilient, and agile teams that thrive in today’s dynamic business environment.
I embarked on my HR journey by choice because I'm a people person at heart. From the start, I was drawn to the dynamics of helping others grow and succeed. Over the years, I had the privilege of working with over 500 giant companies, guiding teams and individuals through various stages of their careers. However, like many of us, I faced an unexpected challenge when I lost my job during the pandemic. It was a moment of uncertainty, but also one of reflection.
Coaching and training had always been part of my role as an HR professional, but it wasn’t until I found myself at a crossroads that I realized this was the gift I didn’t know I needed. Venturing into coaching and training full-time felt like a natural progression, even though it wasn't something I had initially planned for. What started as a necessity soon became my passion and purpose.
Today, I have my own company, a platform dedicated to nurturing potential, driving change, and empowering others to reach new heights. It's been a journey of discovery, resilience, and ultimately, fulfillment.
From earning my master’s degree in HRM to achieving certifications like CHRMP and CIPD, my educational journey has been instrumental in shaping my expertise and credibility in the HR field. Transitioning into coaching was a natural progression, beginning with a strong foundation in HR and gradually expanding to include certifications in coaching tools, psychometric assessments, and methodologies. This combination of deep knowledge and practical tools allows me to deliver tailored, data-driven insights that truly resonate with my clients and drive meaningful change.
I’m always up to something exciting behind the scenes, but I’ll share just a few highlights—I wouldn’t want to spoil all the surprises! Currently, I’m serving as the Regional Lead for Resilience at Work, where I’m training and certifying professionals across the Middle East in the R@W framework. This project is all about embedding resilience as a core organizational practice, ensuring sustainable performance and well-being. On top of that, I’m co-authoring a book that’s set to make a significant impact in the Talent Management, Leadership and HR space—details to come soon! As for the other projects, they’ll remain under wraps... for now.
A few moments truly stand out as proud achievements. One of the most fulfilling was stepping into the role of Regional Lead for Resilience at Work in the Middle East, where I’ve had the privilege of certifying and empowering professionals to integrate resilience into their organizations. Another milestone was launching my own company, Forward Training and Consulting, which has become a platform for driving meaningful change across industries.
Co-authoring a book has been another exciting journey—it’s a project close to my heart, and I can’t wait to share it with the world. Lastly, being recognized with multiple industry awards and serving as an assessor and judge for prestigious accolades has been both an honor and a testament to the impact of my work in HR and coaching. Each of these achievements has reinforced my passion for helping others grow and thrive.
Surprisingly, one of the most valuable skills I’ve picked up is the art of improvisation, both in life and in business. Whether it’s adapting a workshop on the fly or guiding a coaching session when unexpected challenges arise, the ability to think on my feet has served me well. It’s like a muscle I’ve built over time, especially during those moments when things didn’t go as planned. It keeps me sharp, adaptable, and ready for anything.
Certainly! I often describe myself as a curious adventurer in the world of human potential. Whether I’m diving deep into the complexities of Emotional Intelligence or exploring the latest resilience frameworks, I’m always driven by a desire to understand what truly makes us tick.
A fun fact? I used to be absolutely petrified of animals, especially cats. If a cat so much as looked my way, I'd practically sprint in the other direction. But life has a funny way of changing things up. Today, I’m the proud owner of a mischievous furball who’s convinced she rules the house. She’s got me wrapped around her little paw! Who knew that the creature I once feared would end up teaching me so much about patience, love, and the art of negotiating over the last spot on the couch!
If I weren’t in HR and coaching, I might have pursued a career as an astronaut. The idea of exploring the unknown, venturing into space, and experiencing the vastness of the universe has always fascinated me.
My advice would be to embrace curiosity and never stop learning. Seek out new perspectives, challenge your assumptions, and don’t be afraid to step into the unknown. That’s where the real growth happens.
My leadership philosophy is centered around empowerment and trust. I believe in creating environments where people feel valued, heard, and supported to take ownership of their growth. Leadership, to me, is less about directing and more about inspiring, helping others see their own strengths and encouraging them to lead from within. It’s about building a culture of collaboration, resilience, and continuous learning, where everyone can thrive.
I think Executive Diary Magazine does a great job of providing insights from executives across various industries. The platform is easy to navigate, and the content is relatable and valuable for anyone looking to learn from others’ experiences. One suggestion would be to introduce more interactive features like video diaries or live Q&A sessions to make the content even more engaging. Overall, it’s a solid resource that I enjoy exploring.
