My first book 'How to be a Top 10 Writer on LinkedIn' is a Best Seller on Amazon and my new comedy / business book 'Billy Bullsh!t Talks Business' is due out in August 2019.
I have worked on global clients such as J&J, Unilever, Coca Cola & Visa to name but a few. A true hybrid media professional combining the best of creative channel planning and data driven analysis.
Prior to OMD, I was Chief Strategy Officer (APAC) at IPG Mediabrands for 5 years. Whilst at IPG, I was appointed by Coca Cola as lead strategist on the global ‘targeting teens’ project in 2009 (representing IPG, Wieden & Kennedy and Euro RSCG).
As Managing Partner of PHD ('03 to '06) I successfully launched their second office in UK. Before PHD, I was the Pan-European Director of Communication Channel Planning for Initiative based in London & Paris and was also the MD for CIA (now Wavemaker). I started my career with J Walter Thompson in the UK.
I have been recognised by industry publications such as Media Week for their first ever ’30 Under 30’ people to watch in the industry in 1995 and Drum Magazine’s ‘Rising Star’ nomination for 3 consecutive years.
I am a regular judge at prestigious award events such as the Cannes Media Lions, AME’s, EFFIE’s, Festival of Media and Spikes. Now based in London I am happily married with three girls and a dog called Baxter. In my spare time I love running (albeit quite slowly these days) and cycling (when I’m not falling off).
So what’s not to love about working and knowing Steve? I’ve had the good fortune and privilege to work on major clients’ assignments with Steve, who has not only been a colleague, but also and foremost a business (and sometimes life) mentor. His cool demeanour always put you at ease even in the direst of circumstances and his guidance and propositions are always based on a very profound client and business knowledge. As a seasoned professional and LinkedIn acknowledged contributor, I always look forward to read him, exchange with him… Just being inspired by him.Visit Linkedin Profile
