You are always trying to raise the bar on how you are going to take your performance to the next level for your clients and for your life. You are probably more than a student of just your field and are a general student of life on a regular basis.
The thing that you must consider is that you have a hard time when you are trying to learn and do at the same time. This is the case for everyone. It is always very easy to sit and learn and never implement anything, but when you are trying to look at everything you need to do it can be very hard. Maybe you are overwhelmed from the different options that you have when moving from one book to another.
Here is how to Learn and to Do at the Same Time.
1. What Do You Already Know?
If you are overwhelmed by what you do not know, make a list of all you do. That will instantly boost your confidence. That means all the conferences that you have gone to as well as all the little things you may not be considering.
2. Do You Need to Go Back to School?
When you start thinking about school, do you think about wanting to do some writing instead? The best way to learn is by doing and that means that you can get a degree anytime you want.
3. You Never Need to Know Everything.
Once thing that is important to know is that you do not need to know everything. You are not going to be profitable and be able to run a company if you are so focused on learning that you are not doing. You will see that there are tons of people out there that are going to tell you that you need to have x product, so you are going to be successful. However, you do not need to know everything to be successful.
4. Have a Learning Goal.
Before you are reading or buying anything else, you need to make sure that you are ready to learn, and you know what you want to. That means that you need to make sure that you know the technique you want to use so that you are going to have a plan. You need to know when you are reading things and you are studying, what it is that you are trying to achieve. That means that you are going to be able to have all the information you need to make sure that you are doing what you want to do.

You need to think about all the information that you have gotten and decide how you are going to act on that. When you go to a conference or when you read a new book, you need to see what you see that meant something to you and act on it. For me it was when I was working with many others at a group and when I was able to look at how I could see my posts and know what was going to be the most effective for posts. I decided to find new ways to look at my worksheets. I spent time as well working on some worksheets. After that I then decided that I wanted to make sure that I had a plan to get more opt ins.
It is important to know what it is that you want to learn. You need to think about something that you have learned recently and see how you can implement that information.
Experience is Knowledge and Learning
One thing that is very important to remember is that experience is the best teacher. While there are many things that you can read about and you can take in, there is nothing better than learning a lesson by yourself. When you have an experience yourself, you are in the middle of it, you have the thoughts, the events, and all the effects from the experience. When you are learning and reading about something, you are still learning but not in a way that you can when you go through something.
One of the best ways to learn about something without having the experience yourself is to attend a lecture by a leader in your industry. Allow him or her to share their experience with you so that you may capitalize on their experience and ensure that you are going to capture their knowledge. When you are capturing the feedback from another person who has been through a situation, you are going to be able to improve your knowledge and often avoid many of the issues others have experienced.
Understanding Learning and Doing
When you are working to learn something, you may read about it, but until you are able to do it, you will not have a lot of knowledge. Different people learn in different ways and it is simply not enough to read about it. It is extremely important to use knowledge that you collect and find a way to put it to work. What is the point after all if you are not going to use it? There are many ways that you can use all the information you have learned and know that you are using it well.
Improvement will allow you to get better at your job and will also allow you to get better for your clients. When you continually improve your skill level and your timing that is required to execute a task you will also increase your profitability. The improvement in your skill set means more time for family, friends, and playing rather than working. When searching for new things to learn, search for those things that are going to improve your quality of life across the board.
